Katherine M. Hentges

She was born in Kansas City to James C. and Elizabeth DeBrine Braniff. She was married on June 17, 1978 in Jefferson City to Herbert Joseph Hentges who died on January 13, 1985. Survivors include three step-sons, Ray C. Hentges and Larry J. Hentges, both of Jefferson City; and David L. Hentges, Kansas City, Kansas; one step-daughter, Betty A. Beck, Jefferson City; twelve step-grandchildren; sixteen step-great-grandchildren: one brother, James J. Braniff, San Francisco, California; one niece, Patricia Weinberg, Denver, Colorado; and one nephew, Michael Stanley, Raytown, Missouri. She was employed with Mitzi's Store and Schell & Ward Store for many years. She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church; Ladies Sodality; and St. Marys Health Center Auxiliary. She received her education at Immaculate Conception Catholic School and Jefferson City High School.
