KENNETH EDWIN CAREL

Kenneth Edwin Carel, 66, Plattsmouth, NE, formerly of St. Martins, died Thursday, Sept. 21, 2006, at Veterans Administration Hospital in Grand Island, NE. He was born on Feb. 10, 1940 in St. Martins, the son of Charles Amos and Hilda Dulle Carel. He was a career military service veteran of the United States Air Force and was a baptized member of the Roman Catholic faith. Survivors include three brothers and their wives, Raymond and Betty Carel, St. Martins; Richard and Barbara Carel, Jefferson City; and Joseph and Ann Carel, Springfield, IL; one sister, Dorine Heimericks, Jefferson City; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Bernard Carel; and one sister, Helen Steck. Private family graveside services will be held at St. Martin Cemetery.
