KATHLEEN MARY NATSCH

June 30, 1973 — April 2, 2006

Kathleen Mary Natsch, 32, of Jefferson City, died peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, April 2, 2006, at her residence. She was born on June 30, 1973 in Oak Park, IL, the daughter of Ervin and Lynda Slinkard Deierl. She was married on Dec. 5, 1997 in Jefferson City to Gregory Charles Natsch who survives at the home. Mrs. Natsch was a 1991 graduate of North Callaway High School where she was listed in Whos Who of American High School Students. She was a member of the National Honor Society, co-captain of the basketball and softball teams, and member of the third-place State 2A basketball squad during her senior year. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Quincy University in 2003. She was a licensed paramedic with Capital Region Medical Center, Audrain Medical Center, and the University of Missouri. She had been previously employed with the Child Abuse Neglect Hotline Unit of the Missouri Department of Social Services. She was currently serving as a caseworker with Pathways Community Behavioral Healthcare, Inc. She was a member of St. Martin Catholic Church; held a Purple Belt in American Karate; and served as assistant basketball coach at New Bloomfield High School. She loved rescuing dogs, nurturing them to health, and placing them in good homes. Other survivors include two sons and one daughter, Ian Natsch, Benjamin Natsch, and Danielle Natsch, all at home; her father and his wife, Ervin and Christine Deierl, Chicago, IL; her mother and her husband, Lynda and Jim Johnson, Oran, MO; her maternal grandmother, Doreen Kemna, Mexico, MO; and three brothers, Michael Deierl, Des Moines, IA; Danny Deierl and his wife, Chris, Liberty, MO; and Brian Deierl, Lisle, IL. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Thursday, April 6, 2006, at St. Martin Catholic Church with the Rev. Gregory L. Higley officiating. Burial will be in St. Martin Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, April 5th, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Memorials are suggested to the Greg Natsch & Family Fund at Health and Social Services Employees Credit Union, 1401 SW Boulevard, Suite 102, Jefferson City, MO 65109.
