John Jason Jordan

John Jason Jordan, 43, of Jefferson City, died Wednesday, June 4, 2014, at his residence. He was born on July 6, 1970, in Jefferson City, the son of John James "Jay" Jordan and the late Kathy Jeanette McConnell Jordan. Jason was a 1988 graduate of Helias High School and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Lincoln University. He had been employed in management with Enterprise Car Rental in several cities, was a realtor with Remax, Corporation, and most recently owned and operated Mortimer Kegley's Irish Pub for ten years. A member of the Roman Catholic faith, Jason enjoyed golfing, cooking, and tailgating with his friends and family at Mizzou football games. Survivors include his father and step-mother, Jay and Carolyn Jordan, Jefferson City; one sister, Laura Jordan, Peoria, Illinois; one niece, Katelyn Jordan and her fianc, Eric Wildeman, Peoria, Illinois; two aunts, Elizabeth Ann Manning, Ladson, South Carolina; and Rosemary (Mark) Cole, Duvall, Washington; one uncle, Tom Jordan, Naples, Florida; one step-brother, Jacob (Christa) Rost, Denver, Colorado; two step-sisters, Tina (Doug) Shoemaker, Jefferson City; and Connie (Terry) Bruns, Jefferson City; eight step-nieces and step-nephews; and numerous friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Monday, June 9, 2014, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with the Rev. Msgr. David Cox officiating. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be 1:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, June 8th, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with a prayer service at 1 p.m. Memorials are suggested to Helias Foundation, POB 694, Jefferson City, MO 65102; or Samaritan Center, 1310 East McCarty Street, Jefferson City, MO 65101.
