Jerome William Rodeman

February 14, 1954 — March 18, 2021

Jerome Rodeman, 67, of Jefferson City, passed away on Thursday, March 18, 2021, surrounded by family at Capital Region Medical Center.

He was born February 14, 1954, to the late Edmond and Alma (Toebben) Rodeman in Wardsville. After graduating from high school, Jerome continued his schooling in Colorado becoming a diesel engine mechanic.

In his younger years, he painted airplanes, was an over-the-road trucker and returned in 1972 to help on the family farm. From 2006 until 2017, Jerome worked at Delong's Inc. and presently worked full time on the family farm.

On April 28, 1990, Jerome married Dixie Eikermann at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Wardsville who survives.

Hard work was no stranger to Jerome. He could fix or make just about anything and loved to work from sun up to sun down, but Jerome always made time for deer hunting season. Even though he had a stubborn streak, he also had a great sense of humor.

Survivors include his wife, Dixie of Jefferson City; three step-children, Theresa (Dave) Cunningham of Centertown, Sonya (Chris) Horne of Centertown, Ryan Holloway of Jefferson City; six step-grandchildren, Ashley (Lance) New, Dustin Cunningham, Blake (Sierra) Kramer, Caitlyn Horne, Eric Horne, Reagan Holloway; five step-great-grandchildren, Kason, Kinzley, Koda, Kimber and Callie; and his brother, Bob (Mary) Rodeman of Wardsville.

Jerome was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Delbert; and step-granddaughter, Ryley Holloway.
