Jerome Joseph Forck, 94, of Jefferson City, died Saturday, November 15, 2014, at Oak Tree Villas. He was born August 20, 1920, in Jefferson City, the son of the late Gerard Frank and Rose Mary (Castrop) Forck. He was a 1938 graduate of St. Peter High School and attended St. Louis University. He was married on November 12, 1945 in Jefferson City to Beatrice E. Huhman who preceded him in death on July 4, 2004. Jerome served in the United States Army Air Force during World War II. He served overseas in Italy with the 15th Air Force, 461st Bomb Group, 764th Bomb Squadron as Chief Clerk for squadron flight operations. After being honorably discharged from the military he was united in marriage on November 12, 1945, at St. Peter Catholic Church in Jefferson City to Beatrice E. Huhman who preceded him in death on July 4, 2004. Jerome worked for over 37 years as a manager in data processing centers for Airco Inc. He also had worked for United States Cartridge Center and International Shoe. He was a member of the Cathedral of St. Joseph, Men's Association at the Cathedral, VFW Post 35 in St. Martins, American Legion Post 5 in Jefferson City, AARP Jefferson City chapter, and the Western Catholic Union Jefferson City branch. He was actively involved in 40 Days for Life; and a devoted participant of the Cathedral's weekly adoration hour. Jerome was especially proud to have participated in Central Missouri's Honor Flight program. Survivors include: three sisters, Mary Anne Kolb, Jefferson City; Sr. Rose Mary Forck, C.C.V.I., San Antonio; Sr. Bernadette Forck, C.C.V.I., Jefferson City; one sister-in-law, Lorie Forck, Mexico, Mo; and many nieces and nephews and other extended family members. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Beatrice; an infant sister, Irene Forck; a sister, Sr. Mary Rose Forck; and two brothers, Luke Forck and Mark Forck. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, November 19, 2014, at the Cathedral of St. Joseph with the Rev. Msgr. Robert A. Kurwicki officiating. Burial with military honors will be in Resurrection Mausoleum. Visitation will be 4:30-7 p.m. Tuesday at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with a prayer service at 4 p.m. Memorials are suggested to Vogelweid Learning Center, 314 West High Street, Jefferson City, Mo 65101; Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word Retirement Fund, P.O.
