Jane Welma Dothage

Jane Welma Dothage of Koeltztown, Missouri, passed away on May 26, 2016, at the age of 76 years, 7 months and 2 days after a brief illness. She was born on October 24, 1939, to Walter and Ruby (Waller) Reinhardt in Granite City, IL. Jane was united in marriage to Glenn H. Dothage on August 6, 1960, in Warrenton, MO who survives. Jane is also survived by two sons, Rod Dothage, girlfriend Carrie, of Jefferson City, and Courtney Dothage, wife Karen, of Ashland, MO; three grandchildren, Kohl Dothage, Shai Dothage and Morrow Dothage; one sister, Shirley Sida of Warrenton, MO as well as a niece, Carmen Sida and a nephew, Stuart Sida, wife Pam, and one great nephew Zachary. Jane spent her adult life in service to her children and husband in their home and later worked as a nursing home activity director, nursing home administrator and for the Division of Family services. After her retirement, Jane served her church, United Methodist Church, Vienna, MO and her community by singing in the choir and volunteering at church gatherings, blood drives and elections. Jane has been an avid supporter of Glenn in his many years of coaching and has cared for him in their home until her recent illness. Jane loved entertaining friends, reading and cooking. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Ruby Reinhardt and Glenn's parents, Howard and Marie Dothage. Services will be held at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home in Westphalia, MO on Wednesday, June 1, 2016, with visitation from 2-5 .pm. with a prayer service at 5 p.m. A meal will be held at the Westphalia Knights of Columbus Hall immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers the family asks that monetary donation be made to The American Parkinson's Disease Association, 1415 Elbridge Payne Road, Suite 150, Chesterfield, MO 63017.
