Jack Dean Crofoot, 73, of Holts Summit, formerly of Louisiana, Missouri, passed away Friday, September 4, 2020, at his son’s home in Holts Summit, Missouri.
He was born January 20, 1947, in Freemont, Michigan, the son of the late David Horace and Catherine Jean (Enderele) Crofoot.
He was united in marriage to Pamela Sue Betts for over 36 years. Pamela preceded him in death on March 5, 2013.
Dean worked as a heavy equipment mechanic and operated a sawmill.
Survivors include six children, Martin (Lorraina) Smith, John Crofoot, Cathy Crofoot, Rachelle Smith, Shawna Scoggins, Sherry Minn; ten grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a brother, Dave Crofoot.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, and a grandson, Jacob Scoggins.
Dean donated his body to the University of Missouri. Private family services were held.
