JULIUS PAUL KAISER

June 18, 1915 — January 6, 2005

Julius Paul Bud Kaiser, 89, of Jefferson City, died Thursday, Jan. 6, 2005 at Villa Marie Skilled Care. He was born on June 18, 1915 in Jefferson City, the son of Philip Edward and Clara Schleer Kaiser. He was married on Jan. 17, 1938 in Jefferson City to Salome Agnes Buersmeyer who survives at the home. Other survivors include two sons and three daughters-in-law, Stephen and LaVonne Kaiser, Houston, Tex.; Mark and Deborah Kaiser, Midland, Mich.; and Elizabeth Betty Kaiser, Jefferson City; six grandchildren, Kristen Smith, Brittney Kaiser, Stephanie Melchert, Paul Kaiser, Ryan Kaiser, and Andrea Kaiser; six great-grandchildren, Philip Melchert, Sarah Melchert, Riley Kaiser, Jacob Kaiser, Quinn Smith, and Camille Smith; and one sister, Gertrude Kaiser, Jefferson City. He was preceded in death by one son, Philip B. Kaiser; one brother, Edward Kaiser; and three sisters, Sophia Cowley; Rosemary Zelder; and Ruth Oberlander. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2005, at St. Peter Catholic Church with the Rev. Donald W. Lammers officiating. Burial with full military honors will be in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 10, 2005, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with the Rosary recited at 7:30 p.m. Memorials are suggested to Helias Foundation, POB 694, Jefferson City, MO 65102; St. Peter Catholic Church, 216 Broadway, Jefferson City, MO 65101; or School Sisters of Notre Dame, 320 E. A United States Army veteran of World War II, Mr. Kaiser retired in 1982 from the Missouri Highway and Transportation Department where he had been employed for forty-eight years. He was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church; Holy Name Society; Roy Sone Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1003; Helias Knights of Columbus Council 1054; and American Association of Retired Persons.
