JOHN HENRY SCHWARZER

September 16, 1950 — September 23, 2006

John Henry Schwarzer, 56, of Centertown, MO, died Saturday, Sept. 23, 2006, at Jefferson City Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. He was born on Sept. 16, 1950 in Centertown, the son of Joseph Paul and Anna Margaret Wekamp Schwarzer. He was a 1968 graduate of Russellville High School. Mr. Schwarzer retired in 2000 as a printing operator with the Missouri State Office of Administration Printing Center where he had been employed for thirty-two years. He served with the Missouri National Guard for six years. He was a member of St. Martin Catholic Church where he served as an usher, choir member, and assisted with the RCIA program. John also loved music and was a drummer with several area country bands. Survivors include one brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Shirley Schwarzer, Centertown; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Rose Ann and Ralph Bemboom, Philpot, KY; Mary and Rex Boyd, Holts Summit; and Ruth and Roy Ziegler, Tallahassee, FL; and three nieces and five nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be 12 noon Friday, Sept. 29, 2006, at St. Martin Catholic Church with the Rev. Edwin A. Schmidt, officiating. Burial with military honors will be in St. Martin Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 28th, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Memorials are suggested to St. Martin Catholic Church, 7148 St. Martins Ave., Jefferson City, MO 65109.
