JOHN ADAM ERHART

John Adam Erhart, 84, of Jefferson City, died Friday, January 16, 2009, at Oak Tree Villas. He was born on Nov. 1, 1924, in Jefferson City, the son of Alexander Sebastian and Emma Ellen Connell Erhart. He was united in marriage to Dolores Kieselbach who preceded him in death. On June 12, 1999, he married Marjorie Emily Schauwecker Nilges who survives at the home. Mr. Erhart worked for Roy Scheperle Construction where he retired. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, and was a member of the local Laborers Union. Other survivors include: one step-son and wife, Larry and Sue Nilges, Jefferson City; five step-grandchildren, Suzie and Chris Dickneitte; John and Donna Nilges; Ryan and Cindy Pfahl; Stephanie and Chris Steele; Chris Nilges; nine step-great-grandchildren; one sister, Mary Koelling, Jefferson City; and two brothers, Tom Erhart, Jefferson City; and Edgar Erhart, Mount Sterling, Mo. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; and one step-son, Lonnie Nilges; one sister, Agnes Marie Erhart; and six brothers, Billy Erhart; Alexander Erhart; Sam Erhart; Roy Erhart; Lester Erhart; and David Erhart. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 19, 2009, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with the Rev. Patrick G. Dolan officiating. Entombment will be in Resurrection Chapel Mausoleum. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Sunday at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with a prayer service at 7 p.m. Memorials are suggested to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 1206 E.
