JERRY DEAN McBRIDE

February 11, 1952 — June 14, 2005

Jerry Dean McBride, 53, of Jefferson City, died Tuesday, June 14, 2005, at Capital Region Medical Center. He was born on February 11, 1952 in Mountain View, MO, the son of Paul Junior and Elizabeth Ann Nolte McBride who survive in Freeburg, MO. He was married on Sept. 1, 1973 in St. Martins, MO to Virginia Mae Rademan who survives at the home. Mr. McBride was employed in earlier years with Twehous Excavating Company, and for the last fifteen years with Don Schnieders Excavating. He was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church; Laborers Local 662, Jefferson City; and Knights of Columbus Council 3267, Marys Home. He enjoyed fishing, deer hunting, traveling, and camping. He was especially fond of gardening and cutting wood. Other survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Sarah and Michael Gordon, Jefferson City; two sons, Douglas D. McBride and his fiance, Rachele Laneave, both of Jefferson City; and Tommy D. McBride, Jefferson City; one granddaughter, Shelby L. Gordon, Jefferson City; five sisters and two brothers-in-law, Paula and Lawrence Scheppers, Linn, MO; Wanda McBride, Vienna, MO; Shirley McBride, Osage City, MO; Carolyn McBride, Freeburg, MO; and Kathleen and John Nacy, Jefferson City; and one brother and sister-in-law, Edward and Ellen McBride of Montana. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Friday, June 17, 2005, at St. Peter Catholic Church with the Rev. James Smith officiating. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday, June 16th, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Memorials are suggested to an educational fund to be established for his grandchildren.
