JERETTA LYNN MOTES

Jeretta Lynn Motes, 47, of Lohman, died Monday, July 30, 2007, at Golden Living Center. She was born on March 28, 1960, in Ft. Leonard Wood, MO, the daughter of John Tyler and Kathryn Christine Wenzel Malone. She was married on July 18, 1985, in San Antonio, TX, to Vernon Leonard Motes who survives in San Antonio, TX. Mrs. Motes was a 1978 graduate of Helias High School and attended San Antonio Community College. She was employed as a cosmetologist in Jefferson City and San Antonio, TX, in earlier years, later serving as a secretary for Cornerstone Church in San Antonio where she also was a real estate agent. Other survivors include her mother, Kathryn Malone, Jefferson City; two daughters, Jamie Leigh Motes and Kathryn Rose Motes, both of Jefferson City; two sons, Johnathan Ryan Motes and Tyler Lewis Motes, both of Jefferson City; one grandson, Ethan Allan McBaine, Jefferson City; and two sisters and one brother-in-law, Pamela Malone, Jefferson City; and Carla and Charles Steck, Jefferson City. She was preceded in death by her father. Private family graveside services will be held Wednesday at Visitation Cemetery in Vienna.
