James Jim Wellington Neeley, 72, of Jefferson City, died Wednesday, February 13, 2008, at Capital Region Medical Center. He was born on January 24, 1936, in Jefferson City, the son of William Preston and Clara Pauline Loethen Neeley. He was married on June 1, 1957, in Jefferson City to Geraldine Gerry Boehmer who survives at the home. Mr. Neeley was employed with the State of Missouri: Design and Construction for thirty-eight years. James was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church. For many years, James was a member of the Country Gentleman Band that performed at the Lomo Club. He enjoyed playing the guitar, fishing, western movies, and his grandchildren. Other survivors include: three sons and one daughter-in-law, Jimmy Neeley; John and his fiance Carrie Northway, and their friend Teresa Regalado; Jerry Tate and his wife Diane Neeley, all of Jefferson City; two daughters and two sons-in-law, Jeanne and Mike Zumwalt, Lohman; Jackie and Todd Bollinger, Jefferson City; eight grandchildren, Shawn and Sara Neeley; Stephanie and Andy Fritz; Justin Bollinger; Tyler and Taylor Zumwalt; Samantha and Madelynne Neeley; and Paige Northway; one great-grandchild, Aiden Fritz; one brother; and three sisters. He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Sheila Neeley; and a brother. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Monday February 18, 2008, at St. Peter Catholic Church with the Rev. Donardo Bermejo officiating. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Sunday at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with a prayer service at 7:30. Memorials are suggested to the Goldschmidt Cancer Center, Attn.
