Ina Aline Lindley

Ina Aline Lindley, 97, of Jefferson City, died Wednesday, June 15, 2016, at Heisinger Bluffs. She was born on August 25, 1918, the daughter of the late Eddie Franklin and Maudie King Harris. She was married on July 11, 1936, in Clarkton, Missouri to Noonan Hollis "Doc" Lindley who preceded her in death on September 11, 1995. A homemaker, Mrs. Lindley was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church and enjoyed cooking, quilting, canning, gardening, and attending Lindley family reunions. She was also an avid Atlanta Braves baseball fan. Survivors include one daughter, Noonan Sandra Rhea, Jefferson City; two grandchildren, Kimie (Doug) Bax, Jefferson City; and Don (Jane) Rhea, Jefferson City; six great-grandchildren, David Bax, Ryan Bax, John Rhea, Adam Bax, Nathan Bax, and Daniel Rhea; and one brother, Don Harris, St. Louis, Mo. She was preceded in death by four sisters, Edena Tyler, Lema Johnson, Lurleen Holloway, Vera Brueseke; and a son-in-law, Charles Rhea. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 21, 2016, at St. Peter Catholic Church with the Rev. Gregory C. Meystrik officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery. Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. Tuesday at the church.
