IRENE MARIE HEIDRICH

Irene Marie Heidrich, 91, of Jefferson City, died Thursday, Oct. 12, 2006, at Westphalia Retirement Center. She was born on July 26, 1915 in Jefferson City, the daughter of Joseph Henry and Emma Mary Schnieders Bruns. She was married on Sept. 1, 1941, in Jefferson City to Theodore Burton Heidrich who died on April 23, 1980. Mrs. Heidrich graduated from St. Peter High School in 1933. She was a lifetime member of St. Peter Catholic Church. Mrs. Heidrich was executive secretary to the Most Rev. Michael F. McAuliffe for sixteen years, retiring in 1985. Survivors include three daughters and two sons-in-law, Phyllis Heidrich, Westphalia; Mary and Edgar Ambler and Carolyn and Robert Seifert, all of Jefferson City; one son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Nancy Heidrich, Sweet Springs, MO; two brothers and their wives, Howard L. and Marie Bruns, and Roderick O. and Trudy Bruns, all of Jefferson City; one grandson, Jason Ambler; four step-grandchildren; one great-grandson; and four step-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one sister, Alice A. Bruns. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 16, 2006, at St. Peter Catholic Church with the Rev. Philip M. Kane officiating. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Sunday at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with a prayer service at 6:30 p.m. Memorials are suggested to the Carmelite Monastery, 2201 W.
