Herbert Raymond "Herbie" Woehr, 72, of Folk, passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2016, at his home.
He was born July 9, 1943, in Jefferson City, the son of the late Fred Frederick and Mary J. (Huhn) Woehr.
He was united in marriage on May 9, 1998, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Folk, MO to Candace Catherine Reed Hickcox.
Herbie spent his entire life as a well-respected cattle farmer in Osage county.
He was a life-long parishioner of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Folk. Herbie played and coached softball till he was 50 years old. In his spare time he enjoyed hunting and fishing, cheering for the St. Louis Cardinals and MU football and basketball games, and being with his granddaughters.
Survivors include his wife Candace Woehr, Folk; two children, Seth (Melanie) Hickcox, Columbia; Jonna (Wendell) Rechterman, Higginsville; three grandchildren, Cathryn Oetting, Kyla Hickcox, Wendy (Marc) Jensen; three siblings, Leroy (Margie) Woehr, Folk; Margie Temmen, Folk; Theresa (Wally) Rehagen, Westphalia; one sister-in-law, Theresa Woehr; and numerous beloved nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Richard and Gerald Woehr.
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Friday, July 1, 2016, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home in Westphalia with a prayer service at 3:30 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Saturday, July 2, 2016, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Folk with the Rev. Anthony J. Viviano officiating.
Burial will be in St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to the St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church.
