HELEN LUCILLE LOVINS

February 9, 1929 — January 20, 2004

Helen Lucille Lovins, 74, of Jefferson City, died Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2004, at Autumn Meadows Skilled Care, Linn. She is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Cindy L. Lovins, Jefferson City; and Tammy and Richard Northeimer, Jefferson City; two sisters, Martha Holmes, Gainesville; and Ann Gawer, Jefferson City; a half-sister, Kay Fennewald, Jefferson City; a step-sister, Sandy Kliethermes, Bonnots Mill; a half-brother, Gary Tripp, Bonnots Mill; five grandchildren, Ryan Kelley, Garrett Kelley, James Dougherty, Jason Dougherty, and Jessy Lovins; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Margaret Pringer and Marie Prenger; and two brothers, Harold Tripp and Paul Tripp. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 24, 2004, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with the Rev. James M. Smith officiating. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be 12-2 p.m. Saturday at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home. She was born on Feb. 9, 1929 in Belleville, IL, the daughter of Edgar Clyde and Mathilda Fredricka Knernschield Tripp. Mrs. Lovins was a housekeeper for Still Hospital and a nurses aid for Memorial Hospital for many years prior to her retirement in 2001.
