HAROLD FREDERICK SCHNEIDER

Harold Frederick Schneider, 77, of Jefferson City, died Friday, March 18, 2005, at St. Marys Health Center. He was born on April 28, 1927 in Jefferson City, the son of Oscar Frederick and Clara Gress Schneider. He was married on Aug. 30, 1952 in Harrison, Ark. to Lola Fern Curley who survives at the home. Mr. Schneider was a graduate of Jefferson City High School and the University of Missouri. He was employed as a shoe designer with Tweedie Footwear, Jefferson City; Town & Country Shoes, Sedalia; and the Stride-Rite Corporation in Tipton where he retired after nearly forty years in the shoe industry. He was a United States Army veteran of the Korean Conflict, and a member of Central United Church of Christ. Other survivors include one son, Bron F. Schneider, Jefferson City; and two grandchildren, Brandon Schneider, Jefferson City; and Julie Schneider, Meta, MO. Private family services will be held at a later date.
