GLENDA CAROL SEABAUGH

Glenda Carol Seabaugh, 59, of Jefferson City, died peacefully on Wednesday, September 10, 2008, at her residence with her children and mother at her side. She was born on Nov. 9, 1948, in Cape Girardeau, Mo., the daughter of Richard Eugene and Margie Glenda Holmes Seabaugh. She was married on Nov. 21, 1965, in Cuba, Mo. to Carl Leroy Godbey who preceded her in death. She attended school in Cape Girardeau, and was a housekeeper in various establishments in Jefferson City. She was a wonderful daughter, sister, aunt, and mother to her three children. Glenda loved music, dancing, and shopping for bargains at sales and antique shops. Survivors include one daughter, Glenda Faye Godbey, Jefferson City; two sons, Karl Lee Godbey, Naples. Fla.; and Lance David Godbey, Columbia, Mo.; five grandchildren; her mother, Margie Ward, Jefferson City; twin-sister, Linda Vanvactor, Jefferson City; two other sisters and two brothers-in-law, Connie and Dennis Lockwood, Jefferson City; and Kaye and Delbert Stockman, Wardsville, Mo.; six brothers and six sisters-in-law, Larry and Sharon Seabaugh, Holts Summit, Mo.; Garry and Joyce Seabaugh, Jefferson City; Jerry and Debbie Seabaugh, Hartford, Conn.; Mike and Karla Seabaugh, Port Lavaca, Texas; James and Vee Ward, Wardsville; and Jeff and Christy Ward, Maumelle, Ark.; one step-sister and husband, Vicki and Bill Manning, Farmington, Mo.; one step-brother and wife, Michael and Etta Ward, Pevely, Mo.; and two aunts, Janette Rains, Grove Springs, Mo.; and Barbara Jean Seabaugh and her husband, Joe, Cape Girardeau, Mo. She was preceded in death by her father; step-father, Dr. Warren James Ward, Jr.; and one niece, Natalie Seabaugh. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 13, 2008, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with the Rev. Gregory L. Meystrik officiating.
