Frances Marie Bowen

Frances Marie Bowen, 84, of Springfield, formerly of Jefferson City, passed away Sunday, April 26, 2015, at the Maple Wood Alzheimer Center in Springfield, MO. She was born May 16, 1930, in Jefferson City, the daughter of the late Michael and Lydia Ann (Hollicker) Antweiler. She was a 1948 graduate of St. Peter High School. Frances was united in marriage on June 30, 1949, in Jefferson City to Arthur Bowen who preceded her in death on November 17, 2003. In 1949, Frances worked as a secretary for the Missouri Department of Health. After her marriage, she spent the rest of her life as a homemaker. She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church. Survivors include: two children, Don (Debbie) Bowen, Battlefield, MO; Leasa (Bob) Conner, Olathe, KS; four grandchildren, Chris Bowen, Lori Naylor, Lily Conner, Shaun Conner; four great-grandchildren; and one sister, Virginia Antweiler. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and a brother, Michael Antweiler. Visitation will be 9-11 a.m. Wednesday at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 29, 2015, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with the Rev. John J. Schmitz officiating. Entombment will be in Resurrection Mausoleum.
