Forrest James Chappell

Forrest James "Pineapple" Chappell, 67, of Jefferson City, passed away Thursday, June 11, 2015, at his residence. He was born September 12, 1947, in St. Louis, the son of the late Forrest J. and Harriet Yit Moi (Mah) Chappell. He served his country during the Vietnam era with the United States Army. Pineapple was proud to be a heavy machine operator with the Local 513 Operating Engineers. He is survived by four children, Forrest Chappell, Jr., North Dakota; Jason Chappell, Laurie, MO; Chad Chappell, Greenview, MO; Joleigha Chappell, New Bloomfield, MO; seven grandchildren; and two sisters, Peggy Snow and Sandra Hickman. Private family services will be held at a later time. Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
