FREDERICK JOSEPH BOECKMAN

Frederick Joseph Fritz Boeckman, 73, of St. Martins, died Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2006, at St. Marys Health Center. He was born on Feb. 25, 1933 in Miller County, the son of Joseph and Ida Dickneite Boeckman. He was married on Oct. 3, 1953 in St. Martins to Ruth Helen Brondel who survives at the home. A U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict, Mr. Boeckman was employed as a cook with the former Governor Hotel and later as chef with McKinney Restaurant for fifteen years. He owned and operated the Towne Grill Restaurant for twenty-one years, and currently owned the Traci Drive Apartments in St. Martins. He was a member of St. Martin Catholic Church; Mens Sodality; Veteran of Foreign Wars Post 35, St. Martins; Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 2693; and Roscoe Enloe American Legion Post 5. Other survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Jeanie Boeckman, Austin, TX; four daughters and sons-in-law, Debbie and Jim Perrey, Decatur, IL; Karen and Gene Hentges, St. Martins; Vicki and Greg Crawford, Longwood, FL; and Traci and Tony Hentges, St. Martins; fifteen grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three brothers and their wives, Henry and Margaret Boeckman, Linn; Albert and Alma Boeckman, St. Martins; and Adolph and Lorene Boeckman, St. Martins; and two sisters and their husbands, Pat and Julian Brondel, St. Martins; and Alberta and Tom Koestner, Russellville. He was preceded in death by an infant sister, Mary Boeckman; one sister, Anna Marie Schepers; and one brother, Joseph Boeckman. Mass of Christian Burial will be 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 23, 2006, at St. Martin Catholic Church with the Rev. Edwin A. Schmidt officiating. Burial with military honors will be in St. Martin Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 22nd, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with a prayer service at 8 p.m. Memorials are suggested to St. Martin Catholic School, 7206 St. Martins Ave., Jefferson City, MO 65109.
