FAYE NIVENS SCHENEWERK

Faye Nivens Schenewerk,87, of Jefferson City, died Saturday, Feb. 24, 2007, at Heisinger Bluffs. She was born on November 9, 1919, in Marion, MO, the daughter of Isaac Thomas and Mary Effie Shannon Nivens. She was married on June 1, 1940, in Jefferson City to Milburn Henry Schenewerk who died on June 16, 1976. She was a 1936 graduate of Centertown High School and was employed for twenty years as a clerk with the Missouri Department of Revenue. Mrs. Schenewerk was a member of St. Martin Catholic Church and a former member of the American Legion Auxiliary and St. Martins Fifty Plus Club. Survivors include two sons and one daughter-in-law, Wayne Nivens Schewewerk, Centertown, and Mark Steven and Susan Schenewerk, Roeland Park, KS; two daughters and two sons-in-law, Karen Lee and Troy Hopkins, Glenrock, WY; and Carla Sue and Ron Maasen, Madison, AL; seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Carl Nivens, Jefferson City; and Norman and Nevelyn Nivens, Jamestown; and one sister, Fern Wallenmeyer, California, MO. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Martin Nivens and Earl Nivens. Mass of Christian Burial will be 12 noon Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2007, at St. Martin Catholic Church with the Rev. Edwin A. Schmidt officiating. Burial will be in St. Martin Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 27th, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with a prayer service at 8 p.m. Memorials are suggested to Heisinger Benevolent Fund, 1002 W.
