Evelyn Juanita Smith, 90, of Jefferson City, died Sunday, February 2, 2014, at her residence. She was born on February 13, 1923, in Jefferson City, the daughter of the late Albert Jackson and Isabelle Ellen (Carson) Robinett. She was united in marriage on December 25, 1940, in Mexico, Missouri to Richard Edward Smith who preceded her in death on May 2, 1989. A homemaker who was famous for making home-made bread and cinnamon rolls, sewing, and cheering on the St. Louis Cardinals. She also had worked for McGraw Edison for ten years on the assembly line. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Survivors include: one daughter, Rhoda (Bill) Northway, Jefferson City; daughter-in-law, Susan Smith, Kansas City; five grandchildren, Jay (Tammy) Wilson, Angela (Dave) Wilke, Jason (Tracy) Smith, Tricia (John) Fickel, Dennis O'Neal; seven great-grandchildren; Tyler Smith, Megan Wilke, Nicole Wilke, Stephanie Smith, Sarah Smith, Reid Wilson, Kristi Wilson; and two sisters, Margaret Roth, Jefferson City and Ellen Schubert, Shawnee, Kansas. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; three sons, David G. Smith, Donald Smith, Douglas Smith; one sister, Lorain Day; and five brothers, Pleze Robinett, Lester Robinett, James Robinett, Albert Robinett and Paul Robinett. Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Thursday, February 6, 2014, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with Rev. Ken Funke officiating. Burial will be in Hawthorn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to SSM Hospice, 1241 West Stadium Blvd., Jefferson City, Mo 65109; or to a charity of the donor's choice.
