Emma Josephine Meier

She was born in St. Louis to Henry Louis and Catherine Berisville Schmitt. She was married on September 26, 1922 in Sedalia to Francis Herman Meier who died September 12, 1931. She was a homemaker. Survivors include a daugher, Barbara M. Goebel, Jefferson City; a son, Dr. Francis X. Meier, Jefferson City; eleven grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and a sister, Kathryn Gembler, Jefferson City. She was a member of the Cathedral of Saint Joseph; St. Marys Hospital Auxiliary; and St. Mary Circle. Memorials are suggested to St. Joseph Home for the Aged, or to a charity of the donor's choice.
