Elizabeth Maryann Tihen

She was born in Jefferson City to John Francis Tihen and Anna Brenneisen Tihen. Survivors include a niece, Kathryn Tihen Baker, St. Louis; and three great-nieces, Terry Baker, Taos, New Mexico; Laurie Kramer, Phoenix, Arizona; and Holly Baker, Pevely. She served as a secretary for the State of Missouri for thirty-five years, and later served as City Clerk of Jefferson City for eleven years until retiring in 1980. She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church; Ladies Sodality; Daughters of Isabella; St. Marys Health Center Auxiliary; Central Missouri Beagle Club and other Midwest beagle clubs; was active in Democratic politics and a former delegate to the Missouri Democratic Convention.
