ELLEN THERESA HILLMAN

July 10, 1913 — October 19, 2005

Ellen Theresa Hillman,92, of Jefferson City, died Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2005, at Oak Tree Villas. She was born on July 10, 1913 in North Attleboro, Mass., the daughter of John Joseph and Mary Agnes Mullaney Curran. She was married on May 2, 1940 in North Attleboro, Mass. To Raymond Kenneth Hillman who died on Sept. 14, 1971. She was a graduate of North Attleboro High School. A homemaker, Mrs. Hillman was a member of St. Andrews Catholic Church, Holts Summit, MO, and a former member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Cumberland, Rhode Island. She was a social skills tutor at the former Nazareth Hall School, North Attleboro, Mass., and a reading skills tutor at St. John the Evangelist School, Attleboro, Mass. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Maryanne H. and David Danforth, Jefferson City; one son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth R. and Theresina Hillman, Lajas, Puerto Rico; six grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and eleven step-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two infant brothers; and one sister, Mary A. Curran. Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, Oct. 31, 2005, at St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Cumberland, Rhode Island. Burial will be in St. Marys Cemetery, North Attleboro, Mass. Visitation will be 4-6 p.m. Monday, Oct. 24, 2005, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home. Memorials are suggested to ABLE Learning Center, 501 Madison Street, Room 310, Jefferson City, MO 65101; St. John the Evangelist School, North Attleboro, Mass.; Special Learning Center, 1115 Fairgrounds Road, Jefferson City, MO 65109; or any literacy program.
