ELIZABETH ANNE CHATTIN

August 20, 1915 — November 25, 2006

Elizabeth Anne Betty Chattin, 91, of Jefferson City, died Saturday, Nov. 25, 2006, at Villa Marie Skilled Care Center. She was born on Aug. 20, 1915 in Jefferson City, the daughter of John Coyne and Venita Schott Lindley. She was married on Nov. 13, 1937 in Moberly, MO to Joseph Thompson Chattin who died on Oct. 7, 1991. She was a graduate of Jefferson City High School and attended the Chicago Art Institute. Mrs. Chattin was employed from 1969 until her retirement in 1981 as a receptionist with the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church. Survivors include three daughters and one son-in-law, Lynne and Gene Knox, Lees Summit, MO; Betsy Chattin, Jefferson City; and Sheri Coffee, San Antonio, TX; two sons and daughters-in-law, Craig and Bea Chattin, Aiken. SC; and Jeff and Lisa Chattin, Columbia, MO; sixteen grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; and one brother and sister-in-law, Sid and Nancy Lindley, Ft. Worth, TX. She was preceded in death by one son, Tom Chattin; and two brothers, Bob Lindley and Jack Lindley. Funeral services will be 12 noon Thursday, Nov. 30, 2006, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with the Rev. Thomas E. McGrath officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery. Visitation will be 10 a.m. until time of the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
