ELEANOR PAULINE HARDBECK

August 3, 1922 — January 18, 2004

Eleanor Pauline Hardbeck, 81, formerly of Phoenix, Arizona, died Sunday, Jan. 18, 2004, at St. Joseph Home for the Aged. She was born on Aug. 3, 1922 in Jefferson City, the daughter of Richard E. and Anna P. Kolkmeyer Porter. She was married to Vernon Hardbeck who preceded her in death in June, 1990. Survivors include two cousins, Thelma Jean Forck and husband, Wilfred, Jefferson City; and Edwin L. Kolkmeyer and wife, Mary, of Babylon, New York. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 22, 2004, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Interment will be in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2004, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with a prayer service at 7 p.m. Memorials are suggested to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 1206 E. Mrs. Hardbeck was a 1940 graduate of St. Peter High School. In earlier years she was employed with Tolson Drug Store and Pope Drug Store, Jefferson City, and later was a clerk with the J.C. Penney Company in Phoenix for twenty years. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and the Ave Maria Chapter of the Immaculata Club.
