EDWARD FRANK LOEHNER

December 8, 1919 — December 25, 2006

Edward Frank Loehner, 87, of Koelztown, died Monday, Dec. 25, 2006, at the Westphalia Retirement Center. He was born on Dec. 8, 1919, in Koelztown, the son of Henry J. and Anna Brune Loehner. He was married on November 5, 1952, in Westphalia to Mary Margaret Henke who survives at the home. A long-time Osage County farmer, Mr. Loehner was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church, Koeltztown; Western Catholic Union; Knights of Columbus; and Missouri Farm Bureau. Other survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Mark and Roxanna Loehner, Koeltztown; Jim and Bev Loehner, Freeburg; and Tom and Becky Loehner, Koeltztown; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one brother and sister-in-law, Joseph and Clara Loehner, Porterville, CA. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Cornelius Loehner and Leo Loehner; and four sister, Bernadine Lischwe; Bridgette Holterman; Matilda Gordon; and Elenor Wilson. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 28, 2006, at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Koeltztown, with the Rev. Msgr. Marion J. Makarewicz officiating. Burial will be in St. Boniface Cemetery, Koeltztown. Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2006, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home, Westphalia, with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Additional visitation will be 10-11 a.m. Thursday at the church.
