Dorothy Ann Woods

She was born in Cole Conty to Milburn and Helen Dulle Schenewerk. She was married on April 5, 1932 in St. Martins to William Perry Woods who survives at the home. Other survivors include two daughters and their husbands, Victoria and Larry Riggs, Versailles, MO; and Joyce and Alan Staehle, California, MO; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and four sisters, Helen Kaye Meller, Lohman, MO; Rita Rustemeyer, Centertown, MO; Arlene Veit, Palmyra, MO; and Mary Lou Stegeman, Jefferson City, MO. Mrs. Woods was preceded in death by her son, Michael Allen Woods; a brother, Charles Vernon Schenewerk; and sisters and brothers in-law, LaVerne and Bernard Schulte; Loretta Jean and Adolph Schmutzler; and Herbert Rustemeyer. Mrs. Woods was a member of St. Martin Catholic Church; St. Marys Health Center Auxiliary; and an active volunteer with St. Martin Summer Bible School program. Memorials are suggested to St. Martin Catholic Church, 7148 St. Martins Avenue, Jefferson City, MO 65109. A 1950 graduate of St. Peter High School, she was employed at the former Missouri Association of Retarded Children; Missouri Division of Employment Security; and retired as Executive Secretary with the Missouri Farm Bureau in 1985.
