Donald Stephen "Don" Hunn, 86, of Jefferson City, passed away Monday, November 07, 2016, at Capital Region Medical Center. He was born December 26, 1929, in Chicago, Illinois, the son of the late Walter and Ruth Hunn. Don served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He was united in marriage in 1964, in St. Louis, Missouri to Genese Arita Skouby who preceded him in death in 1994. He was married January 19, 2002, in Jefferson City, Missouri to Jenella Grace Clapp who survives. Don worked as a painter with various contractors and was a proud member of the St. Louis Painter's Union. He was a member of the Cathedral of St. Joseph, volunteered at Capital Region Medical Center, and volunteered at Lawson Elementary School. He enjoyed horseracing and was an avid St. Louis Cardinals Fan. Survivors include his wife, Jenella, Jefferson City; one daughter, Christine Beavin (Charles Kramer); two step-children, Rebecca (Tom) Schell, Jeanne (John) Newman; seven grandchildren, Matthew Beavin, Bryce Kramer, Sierra Kramer, Kaycee Kramer, James Schell, Jacob Schell, Mariana Newman; and one great-grandchild, Kennsington Kramer. He was also preceded in death by three sisters, Dorothy, Peggy, and Virginia. Visitation will be 4-6 p.m. Friday, November 11, 2016, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with a prayer service at 3:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be 2 p.m. Saturday, November 12, 2016, at the Cathedral of St. Joseph with the Rev. Msgr. Robert A. Kurwicki officiating. Burial will be Tuesday, November 15, 2016, at Calvary Cemetery in St. Louis. Memorials are suggested to Capital Region Medical Center Foundation, 1125 Madison St, Jefferson City, MO 65101.
