DOROTHY MAE ROLLINS

July 30, 1935 — December 6, 2007

Dorothy Mae Rollins, 72, Jefferson City, died Thursday, December 6, 2007, at Capital Region Medical Center. She was born July 30, 1935, in Peachorchard, Ark., the daughter of Joseph Dale and Irene Janette Witcher Molencupp. She was married in Jefferson City to John Bryan Rollins who preceded her in death on July 6, 2004. Dorothy was a nurses aid for nursing homes while living in Oklahoma. She was employed with Crabtree and Harmon School Bus Service for the Handicap. She was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church. Dorothys passion was her gardens and flowers. She also loved the farm, animals, and especially her birds outside her window. Survivors include: two sons and their wives, Eugene and Mary Spencer, Jefferson City; and Ernest and Alberta Spencer, Jefferson City; two daughters and one son-in-law; Judy and Todd Bogatzke, St. James; and Lora Moreland, Jefferson City; two sister, Letha Berry and Ella Allen, both of Oklahoma; three brothers and spouses, John and Carolyn Molencupp, Joseph and Barb Molencupp, and David and Linda Molencupp, all of Oklahoma; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and a grandson, Matthew Bryan Moreland. Memorial services will be 6 p.m. Saturday, December 8, 2007 at Cornerstone Baptist Church, 4930 Old Lohman Road, Jefferson City, with Pastor Brian Credille officiating.
