DAVID LEROY SUTHOFF

David Leroy Suthoff, 20, of St. Thomas, died Saturday, May 19, 2007 at the Lake of the Ozarks. He was born on July 14, 1986, in Jefferson City, the son of Stephen Joseph and Lucy Ann Berhorst Suthoff who reside at the home in St. Thomas. A 2005 Helias graduate, he was a junior at the University of Missouri-Columbia, majoring in Agri-Business Management. He was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church; CYO; four year member of the Helias Wrestling Team; 2003 Helias State Wrestling Championship Team; 2003 and 2005 All-State Wrestler; 2003 Most Improved Wrestler a member of the Helias National Honor Society; and St. Thomas 4-H Club. Other survivors include three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Jennifer and Josh Schroeder, Meta; Sara and David Otto, St. Thomas; and Angie Suthoff, Kansas City, MO; maternal grandmother, Angeline Berhorst, Westphalia; paternal grandmother, Celeste Suthoff, St. Thomas; four nieces; and three nephews. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Alfred Berhorst and his paternal grandfather, Andrew Suthoff. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 23, 2007, at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church with the Rev. Donald J. Antweiler officiating. Burial will be in St. Thomas the Apostle Cemetery.
