Dale Gerard Redel, 52, of Jefferson City, died Friday, February 18, 2011, at his home surrounded by his family.He was born on March 11, 1958, in Jefferson City, the son of Herbert Pete and the late Patricia Redel.He was united in marriage on November 7, 1981, in Kansas City, Mo, to Lisa May Chappell who resides at the home.Dale was a Safety Specialist with Travelers Insurance for over twenty-seven years.He was a member of the Cathedral of St. Joseph, Construction Safety Group, American Society of Safety Engineers, and Theta Chi Fraternity.Other survivors include: two sons, Joshua Redel, Columbia; Justin (Tiffany) Redel, Jefferson City; one granddaughter, Kylie Grace Redel; three siblings, Dennis (Karen) Redel, Jefferson City; Dianne (Paul) Krone, Champaign, Il.; Daryl (Erica) Redel, Greenwood, Mo; and many nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Schell Redel.Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 22, 2011, at the Cathedral of St. Joseph with the Rev. Msgr. Robert A.
