Carmine Anthony Vignola, 83, of Jefferson City, died Friday, September 19, 2014, at his residence. He was born March 31, 1931, in Brooklyn, New York, the son of the late James V. and Rose Margaret (Solomita) Vignola. He was married on July 3, 1954, in Jefferson City to Grace Mary Kolb who preceded him in death on October 18, 2007. Carmine was the president of Carmine A. Vignola Associates from 1954-1989. He later worked with Vignola Hospitality from 1989-2013. A devoted servant of many Roman Catholic causes, he was a founding member of the Cathedral of Saint Joseph; Fourth Degree member of the Knight of Columbus; was a member of the Board of Regents for St. Mary's Health Center; and was a member of the Electronic Representative Association where he served as Vice-President of the Governmental Affairs and served on the Small Business Legislative Council. He was especially devoted to the Carmelite Monastery. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, James C. and Terry Vignola, Jefferson City; one daughter and son-in-law, Maria G. and James Castline, Jefferson City; six grandchildren, John Vignola, Michael Castline, Catherine Vignola, Christina Vignola, James Vignola, and Joseph Vignola; four great-grandchildren, Tristan Vignola; Skyler Jaegers; Lorelai Vignola; Heidi Vignola; and a brother, Michael (Terry) Vignola, Oldsmar, Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Friday, September 26, 2014, at the Cathedral of Saint Joseph with the Reverend Monsignor Robert A. Kurwicki officiating. Entombment will be in Resurrection Chapel Mausoleum. Visitation will be 4:30-6:30 p.m. Thursday at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with a prayer service at 4 p.m. Memorials are suggested to Cathedral of Saint Joseph, 2301 W.
