Carl Ivan Stevens, II

Carl Ivan Stevens, II, of Jefferson City, died Wednesday, February 13, 2013, at St. Mary's Health Center. He was born on March 18, 1953, in Searcy, Ark., the son of the late Carl Ivan and Thelma M. Meacham Stevens. A 1971 graduate of Judsonia High School in Judsonia, Ark., he attended Arkansas State University. Mr. Stevens was employed for many years in radio broadcasting, first with KWCK Radio in Searcy and with KLIK Radio in Jefferson City, and later with Metro Traffic in Houston, Texas. He then worked for Covenant Trucking Co., Chattanooga, Tenn., and MSS Transport, Salina, Kansas. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Judsonia, Ark. Survivors include three daughters, Kimberly (Jude) Libbert; Candace Stevens; and Carla Stevens, all of Jefferson City; five grandchildren; and one sister, Flora (Bill) Geaslin, Searcy, Ark. Private family services will be held at a later date.
