CLARENCE V. STOCKSICK

November 30, 1919 — February 5, 2010

Clarence Vincent Stocksick, 90, of Centertown, died Friday, February 05, 2010, at Capital Region Medical Center.
He was born on November 30, 1919, in St. Louis, to the late Vincent C. and Katherine Meyer Stocksick. Clarence served in the United States Navy during World War II. He was united in marriage on August 12, 1941, in St. Louis, to Lorraine Bloemer. She preceded him in death on February 24, 2000. Clarence worked as a union carpenter retiring in 1981. He was a member of St. Martin Catholic Church, and Centertown American Legion Post 531.
Survivors include: two sons, Ron Stocksick, Centertown; Ken Stocksick, Centertown; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one brother, Robert Stocksick, St. Louis. He was preceded in death by three sisters, Mildred Meure, Margaret Miller, and Shirley Stocksick.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 12 Noon Monday, Feb. 8, 2010, at St. Martin Catholic Church with the Rev. Edwin A. Schmidt officiating. Burial with full military honors will be in St. Martin Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be 10-12 Noon Monday at the church. Memorials are suggested to the St. Martin Cemetery Fund, 7148 St. Martins Ave., Jefferson City, Mo 65109. Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
