Clara Alice Coffelt, 98, of Jefferson City, died Sunday, November 07, 2010, at Golden Living Center.
She was born on September 9, 1912, near Forsyth, Mo., the daughter of the late John William and Martha Elmina Freeman Edwards. She was united in marriage on October 20, 1932, in Forsyth, Mo., to Jess Monroe Coffelt who preceded her in death on July 21, 1975. Mrs. Coffelt was a homemaker all her life.
Survivors include: one son, Leonard (Barbara) Coffelt, Jefferson City; four step-grandchildren, Dianne (Charles) Ament, Dale (Steven) Porter, Robert Davis, Jr., Charlane (Sam) Conductor; ten step-great-grandchildren; ten step-great-great-grandchildren; and one brother, John (Alma) Edwards, Klamath Falls, Ore. She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Maryetta Coffelt; two sisters; an infant sister; four brothers; and six half-sisters and one half-brother.
A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, November 13, 2010, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home. Burial will be in Edwards Cemetery in Powersite, Missouri.
