CECILIA FRANCES SCHWARTZE

Cecilia Frances Schwartze, 97, of Jefferson City, died Monday, August 29, 2005, at Villa Marie Skilled Care. She was born on Sept. 22, 1907 in Freeburg, MO, the daughter of Fritz Ben and Elizabeth Hagenhoff Falter. She was married on Feb. 22, 1933 in Freeburg to Henry John Schwartze who died on July 27, 1988. A homemaker, Mrs. Schwartze was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and St. Anns Sodality. She loved quilting and donated many of her quilt designs to the church. She was a devoted mother who inspired her family with the depth of her Catholic faith and life. Survivors include one son and his wife, Urban H. and Shirley Schwartze, St. Louis; six daughters and their husbands, Betty R. Eisterhold, Freeburg; Helen M. and Dale Schrimpf, Jefferson City; Irene E. and Jim FitzGerald, Kansas City, MO; Pauline J. and Roman Scheulen, Linn, MO; Delores J. and Joe Rackers, Taos, MO; and Mary A. Russell, Defiance, MO; forty-five grandchildren; one hundred thirteen great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Anna Schwartz and Mathilda Wansing, both of Vienna, MO; and Ledvina Colt, Fredericktown, MO. She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Dorothy Mae Schwartze; three grandchildren, Brian Eisterhold; Belinda Eisterhold; and Jeffrey Russell; one great-granddaughter, Georgia Hagenhoff; two infant sisters; one sister, Elizabeth Bock; two brothers, John Falter and Alphonse Falter; two half-sisters, Sr. Josephine Falter; and Josephine Morfeld; one half-brother, Charles Falter; and two sons-in-law, August Eisterhold; and Leonard Russell. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 2, 2005, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with the Rev. Msgr. Michael J. Wilbers and the Rev. Patrick G. Dolan officiating. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Memorials are suggested to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 1206 E.
