CATHERINE TERESA BROWN

Catherine Teresa Brown, 83, of Jefferson City, died Monday, March 27, 2006, at Oak Tree Villas. She was born on March 6, 1923 in Wellsville, MO, the daughter of Opal Vest and Tressie Elizabeth Hughes Brown. Miss Brown was employed for many years as a secretary with the State of Missouri. In earlier years she was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church and the Daughters of Isabella. She was a former resident of St. Joseph Home for the Aged where she frequently attended Mass. Survivors include two brothers and one sister-in-law, Thomas L. and Catherine Ann Brown, Jefferson City; and John H. Brown, Jefferson City; and two sisters, Mary Sue Hemmel, Lees Summit, MO; and Rose Marie Schell, Tullahoma, TN. She was preceded in death by one sister, Dorothy Ann Brown. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 29, 2006, at the Cathedral of Saint Joseph Chapel with the Rev. Jeremy A. Secrist officiating. Entombment will be in Resurrection Chapel Mausoleum. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, March 28th, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Memorials are suggested to the Cathedral of Saint Joseph, 2305 W.
