Billye Sue Throneberry

Billye Sue Throneberry, 85, of Jefferson City, passed away Monday, July 27, 2015, at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born February 5, 1930, in Jefferson City, the daughter of the late William Preston and Clara Pauline (Loethen) Neeley, Sr. She was united in marriage on December 30, 1946, in Jefferson City to Thomas Garland Throneberry, Jr. who preceded her in death on November 8, 2012. She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church. Mom was a loving mother and homemaker who was the kind of person you would want to be around simply for the fun of it. She loved participating in games with family and friends and had a sharp wit with an endless capacity to tease even those who were strangers. With her passing we can finally assure the grandchildren that there are no wolves in the basement of her house. She will be sorely missed by all those who knew and loved her. Survivors include: two children, Thomas J. Throneberry, Holts Summit; and Jacqueline S. Throneberry, Lakeland, Florida; five grandchildren, Sean Throneberry, Holts Summit, Mo.; Kirsten Throneberry, Seattle, Wash.; Melissa Heet, Jefferson City; Michael Morris, Oak Grove, Mo.; and Monica Morris, Springfield, Ill.; and several great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Merry Throneberry. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, July 31, 2015, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with the Rev. John J. Schmitz officiating. Entombment will be in Resurrection Mausoleum. Visitation will be 9:30 a.m. until time of the service on Friday at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home.
