BETTY JEAN BUSCHJOST

Betty Jean Buschjost, 68, of Wardsville, died Sunday, July 4, 2004, at her residence. She was born on March 8, 1936, in Wardsville, the daughter of Anton Joseph and Catherine Elizabeth Mueller Siebeneck. Her mother survives in Wardsville. She was married on June 9, 1956, in Wardsville to Leroy Anton Buschjost who survives at the home. Other survivors include three sons and their wives, Dennis and Pam Buschjost, Jefferson City; Gregory and Misty Buschjost, California, MO; and Mitchell Buschjost, Wardsville; six grandchildren, Brandie, Kelli, Megan, Karsen, and Hayley Buschjost, and Lindsey Hammen; two brothers and their wives, Anthony and Betty Siebeneck, Wardsville; Jerry and Betty Siebeneck, Jefferson City; one sister and her husband, Marilyn and Jerry Hamacher, Jefferson City; and one daughter-in-law, Patricia P. Buschjost, Loveland, Colorado. She was preceded in death by her father; and one son, Terry Gene Buschjost, on August 15, 2003. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Thursday, July 8, 2004, at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Wardsville, with the Rev. Gregory C. Meystrik officiating. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, July 7, 2004, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Memorials are suggested to St. Stanislaus Education Fund, 6414 Route W., Jefferson City, MO 65101; Community Hospices of America, 1005 Northeast Drive, Jefferson City, MO 65109; or St. Stanislaus Mausoleum Building Fund, 6410 Route W, Jefferson City, MO 65101. A 1954 graduate of St. Peter High School, Mrs. Buschjost was employed as head bookkeeper with Nentwig Building Center from 1953 to 1973, and with FAB Building Center from 1973 until her retirement in 1998. She was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Wardsville; enjoyed playing Bingo and traveling through forty-nine states; and together with her husband, grew many varieties of beautiful flowers.
