BETTY ELIZABETH HOUGH

Betty Elizabeth Hough, 84, of Jefferson City, died Thursday, Oct. 6, 2005, at Oak Tree Villas. She was born on May 8, 1921 in Calpine, California, the daughter of Frank and Agnes Barr. She was married in 1946 in San Francisco to Richard James Hough who died in 1979. She received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California at Berkley and a Master of Social Work degree from California State University at Los Angeles. Mrs. Hough retired in 1989 as a state rehabilitation counselor for the State of California where she had been employed for twenty years. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Jefferson City; and a PEO Chapter in California. Survivors include two sons and one daughter-in-law, James Brian and Barbara Hough, Jefferson City; and Frank Richard Hough, LaCanada, California; and two granddaughters, Rebekah Hough and Rachel Hough. She was preceded in death by one brother, Frank Bill Barr. Private family services will be held at a later date.
