August Anton Schwarzer

August Anton "Augie" Schwarzer, 96, of Jefferson City, died Saturday, April 06, 2013, at St. Joseph Bluffs. He was born on September 30, 1916, in Jefferson City, the son of the late Rudolph Sr. and Marie (Hadwick) Schwarzer. Augie was a farmer all his life. He was a member of the Cathedral of St. Joseph. Survivors include: his twin sister, Rose Schwarzer, Jefferson City; a sister-in-law, Mary Schwarzer, Jefferson City; four nephews; and six nieces. He was also preceded in death by three brothers, Rudolph Schwarzer, Jr., Joseph Schwarzer, Frank Schwarzer; three sisters, Marie Schwarzer, Anna Schwarzer, Ernestine Schwarzer; and one nephew, John Schwarzer. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 9, 2013, at the Cathedral of St. Joseph with the Rev. Thomas McGrath officiating. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-6 p.m. Monday at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with a prayer service at 6 p.m. Memorials are suggested to Vogelweid Learning Center, 314 West High Street, Jefferson City, Mo 65101; or to a charity of the donor's choice.
