Anthony Garrett "Tony" Diemler, 66, of Jefferson City, passed away Monday, September 19, 2016, at University Hospital in Columbia, Missouri. He was born May 9, 1950, in Jefferson City, Missouri to Robert A. "Bud" Diemler and Marjorie Lou Braswell. He was a 1968 graduate of Tascosa High School in Amarillo, Texas. He was united in marriage on March 6, 1982, to Mary Adele Rackers at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Jefferson City, Missouri. Tony owned and operated Central Missouri Distributing Company (Dark Horse Electronics) for 39 years. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. He loved going to the Lake of the Ozarks, playing pool, and watching westerns. Survivors include his wife, Mary Diemler, Jefferson City; a daughter, Natalie Diemler, Columbia, MO; his mother, Marjorie Lou Braswell, Plano, Texas; one brother, Scott Braswell, Nesbit, MS; four brothers and sisters-in-laws, Al and Hedy Rackers, Columbia; Betty and Glenn Rackers, Wardsville; Wanda and Kenny Lehmen, Osage Bend; Ted and Vicki Rackers, Jefferson City; an aunt, Ann Boughton, St. Louis; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert "Bud" Diemler; his son, Garrett A. Diemler; a brother, Craig Braswell; a sister, Pamela Diemler; his grandparents, Anton and Agnes Diemler, Roy and Maggie Garrett; and a mother-in-law, Pauline Rackers. Visitation will be 10 a.m. till 12 noon Friday, September 23, 2016, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be 12 noon Friday, September 23, 2016, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with the Rev. Donald Antweiler officiating. Burial will be in Resurrection Catholic Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 1206 East McCarty Street, Jefferson City, MO 65101; or to the Samaritan Center, 1310 East McCarty Street, Jefferson City, MO 65101.
