Albertine Bernardine Coffelt

She was born in Long Lane, MO to Frank Carl Markway and Frances Rose Kolb Markway. She was married on February 25, 1943 in Jefferson City to Edward Ralph Coffelt who died on July 25, 1977. She is survived by two daughters, Donna West, Kansas City; and Kathy Brown, Holts Summit; one grandson; a sister, Carmelita L. Green, Westphalia; and a brother, Donald Markway, Jefferson City. She was preceded in death by a sister, Marjorie Frank; and three brothers, Everett Markway, Ulysses (Pete) Markway, and Francis Markway. She was a member of St. Martin Catholic Church. Albertine Coffelt left this world on September 26, 2002 to rejoin her beloved husband for the rest of eternity. Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 1653, Topeka, KS 66601; American Cancer Society, 2932 Mohawk, Jefferson City, MO 65101; or to the St. Martin Catholic Church, 7148 St. Martins Ave., Jefferson City, MO 65109. She attended Jefferson City High School. She was employed with The Department of Natural Resources as an Accounting Clerk for twenty-two years, retiring in 1977.
