ARTHUR WILLIAM LUECKE

Arthur William Luecke, 79, of Jefferson City, died Tuesday, May 8, 2007 at St. Marys Health Center. He was born on May 21, 1927 in St. Louis, the son of Frank Joseph and Clara Josephine Rackers Luecke. He served in the United States Army. On June 30, 1952, he was married in Jefferson City to Bernice Hazel Kauffman who resides at Villa Marie Skilled Nursing Facility. Mr. Luecke was a vocational educator in electronics for the Missouri Department of Corrections for over twenty-seven years, retiring in 1989. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus, Holy Name Society, and American Legion, Roy Sone Post #5. Other survivors include two sons and one daughter-in-law, Arthur Steven and Karen Luecke, Lake Ozark, MO and Ronald Bernard Luecke, Lohman, MO; two daughters and their husbands, Pamela Ann and Jeffrey Himmelberg, Overland Park, KS, and Suzanne Marie and Brian Schulte, Freeburg, MO; five grandchildren, Andrew Luecke, Matthew Luecke, Grant Schulte, Jared Schulte, and Carson Schulte; and one brother, William Luecke, Fayette, MO. He was preceded in death by his parents. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 11, 2007, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with the Rev. Benjamin Nwosu officiating. Burial with full military honors will be in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Thursday, May 10th, at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Memorials are suggested to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 1206 E.
