AMELIA MARY JACQUIN

August 6, 1917 — January 27, 2004

Amelia Mary Jacquin, 86, of Jefferson City, died Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2004, at Villa Marie Skilled Nursing Facility. She was born on Aug. 6, 1917, in Loose Creek, the daughter of Theodore and Gertrude Niekamp Maasen. She was married on Aug. 18, 1936 in Linn to August Julius Jacquin who survives at the home. Other survivors include five sons and daughters-in-law, Leon and Kathy Jacquin, Villa Ridge; Gerald and Susie Jacquin, Lebanon; Kenneth and Barbara Jacquin, Austin, TX; Paul Jake and Karen Jacquin, Holts Summit; and Thomas and Mary Jacquin, St. Louis; one daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Gary Clarke, Lees Summit; eighteen grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and a sister, Mildred Kemple, Jefferson City. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Arthur Maasen; and five sisters, Johanna Schaefer; Frances Dulle; Alice Chandler; Leona Grefrath; and Mathilda Maasen. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Friday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with the Rev. Patrick G. Dolan officiating. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Memorials are suggested to Hospice of Jefferson City & Mid-Missouri, 601 E. A homemaker, Mrs. Jacquin was employed at Daisy Delight Drive-in for ten years, and later with Missouri Electric Cooperative. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and the Immaculata Club.
